CGF is committed to your privacy. We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of all information provided by users of the Website, subscribers to our services, registrants for promotional events and contests, and all of our customers. Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information will be treated. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time so please check the Website periodically for updates. When the Privacy Policy is changed, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of the Policy. For material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by placing a notice on the Website.

1. What is personal information? Personal information is any information that can identify you. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, age, gender identity, additional demographic information (for example, national, racial, religious or ethnic background/heritage), household information, income, behavioral and attitudinal information, home address, phone number and email address.

2. What personal information does CGF collect and how is it used by CGF? You may be required to provide personal information to register for a warranty, sign up for newsletters or to register for surveys, promotional events and contests through social media or by other means. However, we do not require you to register and provide personal information to use or access any parts of the Website and we do not do online transactions through the Website. For services that require payment such as product purchases, you will be required to provide credit card and payment information, but we do not collect such information online and we do not maintain or store such information in our internal databases – it is only used to process the transaction.

The personal information that you may be required to provide includes your name, address and contact information. We may also collect demographic information on a strictly voluntary basis, such as your age and gender, through information that you provide to us as part of registering for surveys, promotional events and contests. Demographic data may also be used to tailor the communications you receive from us, to determine aggregate consumer preferences and to evaluate, develop and implement promotions and campaigns. We may use your personal information to determine which information to direct to you, including marketing and promotional-related communications if you have provided us with consent to do so.

For surveys, contests and events, we may also use your personal information to contact you if you have won a prize and to share your name with the public and third party sponsors based on the applicable contest or promotional event rules.

You are not required to disclose any personal information to any other CGF users or third parties as part of your use of the Website. You are solely responsible for any personal information that you voluntarily disclose to anyone else other than CGF when you are using the Website or our products or services. If you provide us with personal information relating to someone else, you represent and warrant to us that you have obtained consent from that individual to provide their personal information to CGF.

If you contact CGF, we may keep a record of that correspondence. Whenever CGF collects personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

3. Does CGF share my personal information with anyone else? The personal information that you provide to CGF will not be disclosed or provided to anyone else unless we have your express consent to do so. Otherwise, we will only release your personal information when we believe in good faith that it is required by law or when we have been asked to do so by search warrant, court order, subpoena, law enforcement requests or other legal process, or in certain cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring a legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property.

4. What is “Aggregated Data” and how is it used? The information that you provide might be analyzed by CGF and shared with third parties in an aggregated (i.e., collective) anonymous format without disclosing any of the personal information that you have provided to us. Aggregated data is not considered personal information because it cannot identify you as an individual. Accordingly, we do not require your express consent to share aggregated data with third parties. By using the Website, you have provided us with consent to share aggregated data in such a manner. If you do not wish us to do so, please do not use the Website.

As a result, your personal information may be transferred outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in Canada. While such information is outside of your country, it is subject to the laws of Canada, and it also may be subject to disclosure to the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of other countries, pursuant to their laws.
